I'm a student of Russian philology at the Moscow State University. My main interest is slavic etymology and relations between languages, but I'm also fond of the English language and culture.
I compose songs, both music and lyrics, and sometimes have concerts. This lj is mainly the space to write lyrics and poems, but also a means to keep in touch with people.
I'm an Orthodox Christian, but I'd like to know more about Catholicism and Christianity in general. What is more, my first name, Idaliya, is Catholic in origin, it features in my ID, but my Christian name (given in baptism) is Daria. Though most of my friends and my husband call me Idaliya.
